If you’re looking for a unique way to celebrate Mama or Yiayai on Sunday 12th May, Executive Chef Peter Conistis will be serving up a magnificent Mother’s Day lunch at Ploós on the sparkling Sydney harbour foreshore!
Widely regarded as the pioneer of Grecian cuisine in Australia, Conistis’ Mother’s Day menu will be a shared feast for the whole family to enjoy together. This menu celebrates Peter’s Greek heritage, his love of regional Mediterranean flavours, expertise in sourcing local produce and most importantly his mother Eleni, whom influenced his culinary journey from an early age.
“Mum has been my biggest inspiration and my biggest fan – she’s been on this culinary journey with me every step of the way. Some of my fondest memories have been in the kitchen, watching her cook and learning from her. Mum cooks intuitively and cooks with love – if she’s cooking for you, you know it comes from the heart.
